Eternal Bloom is capturing the moment when a person finds who they are, uncovers their passion, (and digs deeper into who they are as an individual). As the Sakura in Japan, Žydėjimas in Lithuanian, or Antheros in Ancient Greece, we are all unique, blooming at different stages of our life. Blooming also refers to the roots of each individual (passions, heritage, core identity). (This theme manages to encapsulate various aspects of who a person is and means that speakers may choose a variety of different topics to discuss. This theme encompasses designs, multiple topics, and our personal experiences all in appealing ways.)

EVENT GALLERY

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxVIS, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxVIS event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
